Admissions Application for Summer and Fall 2025 Opens at 8 p.m. CT.

Submit Housing Application

The housing application opens for admitted students is available beginning October 1. First-time freshmen are required to live in on-campus housing.

General Scholarship Application (GSA) Opens

Admitted students can begin their GSA on October 1st each year. The GSA houses competitive, alumni, extracurricular, and other scholarships.

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Once you have been admitted to MSU, you can begin your FAFSA. MSU's federal code is 002423.

Incoming freshmen for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 academic year, should complete their Housing Application submission by April 1 at 11:59 p.m. CT in order to maintain their housing priority.

Housing Contract Priority Period

Incoming freshmen for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 academic year, should return to their Housing Portal to complete their housing contract between April 2 at 10 a.m. and April 30 at 11:59 p.m. CT in order to maintain their housing priority.

Roommate Search and Selection Closes

After May 9, students will not have the ability to choose or adjust their roommate. Students are not required to select a roommate, however, we do encourage students to utilize the Roommate Search and Selection function in their Housing Portal as well as the ZeeMee app to explore potential roommate options, if they so choose.
