Catherine Mansell
Hey Friends!! My name is Catherine Mansell and I am from Memphis, TN! I graduated from MSU with a degree in Kinesiology and I am working on my masters in Higher Education. I chose Mississippi State because every time I stepped on campus it felt like home, and that remained true all 4 years as a student! I cannot wait to meet you and show you how MSU can become your home too!
My favorite place on campus has to be Dudy Noble Field. Baseball is my favorite sport to watch at MSU, and it is where I met my husband in 2021! Most of my best memories were made in that stadium.
My biggest piece of advice would be to get involved!!! There are over 300 organizations and clubs on our campus, which means there is plenty of opportunity to find your home on campus. I found my home in Roadrunner, and it is the reason I am your admissions counselor today!
I found my family in Roadrunner! We got to show students and their families around campus and share with them everything MSU has to offer! It quickly became my biggest college blessing.
My favorite restaurant in Starkville is Bin 612. Chicken tender cheese fries are the BEST thing on the menu. It also has a great patio, so you get to sit outside and people watch while eating great food!
Spotify for sure!!! My top artists are Taylor Swift, One Direction, Morgan Wallen and Hardy!
